Here on the central Pacific coast it was a dark, cold and blustery dawn and equally wet and bitter morning and afternoon. We did meet with friends for a nice brunch and we tried to put a cheery face on the hard times facing us all. Two of our group were retired with one in the offing. I was the sole “young person” still in her 40’s. The others had their bit of hope with their fairly secure pensions. Not so with me…I still have more work adventures in my destiny. It’s very hard to be realistically hopeful so I must rest on my faith…faith in my friends, neighbors, family, and of course, in me.
As a wise fictional character once said, it’s not for us to pick the times we live in, it’s for us to decide how to live within wisely within our circumstances. Numerology suggests a similar principle…we have been given certain challenges, certain gifts to navigate this precious life. We are called everyday to be the person we were meant to be. That doesn’t mean it’s easy or sheltered. It just is. If we live thusly, we maximize our potential, our happiness, our effectiveness and our ability to give back to the world.
So if you wake up tomorrow after this Universal 7 day Solstice and feel glum, think about how you…and only you can make a difference. You are but a puzzle piece searching for your puzzle; a riddle searching for an answer. Don’t give up...because we need you!
